I face the same problem with Sify.com. Many people could not hear my Voice Column there. So I have decided to publish them in an easier way here in my blog.

I know that Thisaigal has a wider reach and different audience. I would certainly like to reach them as well.

All the best.Dr.N.Kannanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14818436093975846251noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5593630.post-1149209892884860632006-06-02T06:28:00.000+05:302006-06-02T06:28:00.000+05:30// By the way, why should you convert a Unicode te...// By the way, why should you convert a Unicode text to TSCII while Thisaigal is a Unicode e-zine? But after uploading many texts had fonts problem. Many readers with various browsers and older versions of computers had difficulties. I have no clue why that happens.

so I decided to maintain the uniformity by converting into Tscii first and then again to unicode. Plus. editing is easy for me only in Murasu Editor. Perhaps a matter of habit.

arunaAruna Srinivasanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14251396992335602938noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5593630.post-1149208165741256042006-06-02T05:59:00.000+05:302006-06-02T05:59:00.000+05:30Dear Aruna:That is precisely the point. By the way, why should you convert a Unicode text to TSCII while Thisaigal is a Unicode e-zine? I would certainly, as an author, appreciate any editorial correction.

Dear Kannan,

I read your blog just now. I am sorry, I don't think Thisaigal is responsible for the errors either. Your article was in notepad and I had to convert it to Tscii to make any editing. In the process of convertion invariably many texts have problem with letters like " ha" and " AA". They appear as just inverted commas. So all I did was to change the inverted commas into proper "ha".

otherwise, I have not disturbed your piece in anyway - let alone be responsible for any spelling mistakes. if there are any spelling errors they were in the original and my mistake perhaps was not takng note of them.

So I would really appreciate if you could remove the above disclaimer from your blog.

Thanks and cheers

aruna.Aruna Srinivasanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14251396992335602938noreply@blogger.com
